The Forest4Life Project is an ambitious initiative focused on restoring degraded ecosystems in Rwanda through sustainable land management practices. Our mission is to promote environmental conservation and empower local communities by implementing reforestation, agroforestry, and environmental education programs. We aim to restore 1,000 hectares of degraded land by planting 50,000 native indigenous trees and protecting wildlife habitats. Running from September 2023 to December 2025, the project emphasizes improving biodiversity, engaging local communities in sustainable land management, and monitoring progress through technology. By promoting eco-friendly practices, creating jobs, and enhancing carbon sequestration, we aim to contribute to climate change mitigation. Our key partners include local governance, farmers, and funding support from the Global Landscape Forum.
The mission of the Forest4Life Project is to restore degraded ecosystems, promote sustainable land management, and empower local communities through reforestation, agroforestry, and environmental education initiatives.
The vision of the Forest4Life Project is to be a center for restoration that integrates local and natural adaptations, restoring landscapes and environments while harmonizing nature with agricultural practices and other human activities in Rwanda.
