Restoring Drylands in Kayovu, Bugesera, Rwanda
The Forest4Life Project aims to restore 1,000 hectares of land by planting 50,000 native trees, protecting wildlife, and engaging local communities in sustainable practices to combat climate change.
At Forest4Life, The Forest4Life Project is dedicated to restoring degraded land in Rwanda through reforestation, agroforestry, and sustainable land management practices. By planting native trees, training farmers in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and conservation agriculture, and engaging youth in environmental stewardship, we aim to enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change, and create a sustainable future.
The Forest4Life Project aims to restore 1,000 hectares of land by planting 50,000 native trees, protecting wildlife, and engaging local communities in sustainable practices to combat climate change.
The Native Tree and Fruit Nursery Project will produce 30,000 seedlings per season to support reforestation, agroforestry, and improve food security in Rwanda's Eastern and Southern provinces.
At Forest4Life, one of our key services is restoration, where we collaborate with local farmers to adopt agroforestry practices and replant native indigenous trees, promoting sustainable land use and environmental conservation.
At Forest for Life, we train farmers on sustainable agricultural practices, including conservation agriculture, agroforestry, environmental protection, and microdosing fertilizer application. These techniques aim to improve soil health, boost crop yields, and promote long-term environmental sustainability.
We also offer youth programs at Forest4Life, where we engage the younger generation by training them in environmental protection and tree planting, fostering a spirit of conservation and sustainability for the future.
